The things you learn when you travel with others (part 3)

Check out Part 1 and Part 2.

[The following is edited lightly for brevity and clarity]

Roughly 24 hours before our scheduled departure, I had this exchange with Marcy:

Granted, this is a step up up from last week when she suggested I ask the bride to help me with transportation.
So I don’t know what the issue is, but this is now the second time Marcy has suggested I find alternate transportation.  Awesome she waited until the day before to really drive home that point, but at least she did my homework for me.

Subject: Woodstock wedding weekend

Hey — Marcy pointed out a bus that leaves from PA and goes to Woodstock, NY. I’d aim to catch a 5pm bus that would be scheduled to arrive at 7.30pm. It’s around a 10-minute drive from the house: [Directions]

Do you think someone would be able to pick me up, or should I plan to take a cab? I don’t want to break up the party if you’re already partying 🙂

Since that works, I’m going to go ahead and buy the ticket — thanks, guys!

The wedding will be fun, and I just have to get through this weekend…

Part 4 at last.
